How to Make Freshman Volleyball Team?

I was a freshman for the year '10-'11. I made varsity. If you show the coach that you are willing to listen and take any advice that the coach gives you, they will keep their eye on you, and will definitely consider you, to be ON the team, you have to show the coach that you actually TAKE her advice and suggestions and use it, and try to improve your skills. Also ask a lot of questions . When they give you advice, over emphasize. For example, if your coach tells you too keep your arms straight, then make it a little straighter than you naturally or usually would, just to show the coach that you are really trying and listening. :) that's what i did, they moved me up from junior varsity tryouts, to varsity tryouts, and i made varsity, not because i was outstandingly great, but because i showed that i was cooperative, got along with the other players, and listened well and didn't give the coaches any trouble.
