Air Force spouse wants a career?

My girlfriend and I have been together for little more than a year and a half and we plan on getting married. However she wants to pursue a career in politics in Dayton, OH. I'm very happy to have such an ambitious wife who also wants to serve the people of the United States, but with 5 years required after i graduate from the Academy, I will most definitely be moving from base to base and she refuses to be a stereotypical Air Force wife following me from base to base. I love her very much but is this the end of our relationship? How can I make this work out?
